I recently chipped my .87 asscher stone and had it quickly replaced through jewelers mutual.... they were great to work with btw! My old stone had a large table and faced up bigger than my new stone which is a 1.03 F VS1. The old stone was very pretty but not ideal by any standards, the large table took away from the "asscherness" of the stone and was very glassy. Anyhow...my new stone is much more of a true asscher ( in my completely unprofessional opinion of course!) I already have the stone and think it is beautiful but I am wondering if anyone can let me know "how I did" in choosing it.... I basically chose it out of a lineup based on how it looked to me

Measurements: 5.56 X 5.53
Weight: 1.03
Depth: 68
Table:56
Girdle: thick to very thick
cutlet: none
Polish: Very good
Symmetry: Good
Clarity: VS1
Color: F
Fluorescence : none

It would help to see pictures :wink2: Asschers are vey hard to judge by numbers alone.

I agree with lil Misfit, it's impossible to judge a fancy cut on it's numbers alone, so you were smart to have viewed them and chosen it based on how you felt about it visually. I'd love to see photos of it!

Took these with the iPad so not greatest quality photos

Oh my! It looks stunning! Very very pretty! You need to start a show me the bling thread and show her off!

Thanks.... The pictures were taken with iPad so they truly do not show how pretty it is. My setting is also very detailed, there is lots of engraving on the underside of band, etc

Yes, looks beautiful! And it faces up just like a 1 ct asscher should (diameter).

Good job.
