Hi guys
Thank you for your input on my thread here: https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/driving-my-partner-crazy-please-help.201520/
I was originally thinking I'd go with the Truth x3 or Crossed Trellis setting but in the end I decided to go with a mash up of Brian Gavin's Classic Three Stone and The Summer settings, which would make it similar to the Tiffany three stone. I went with the diamonds suggested by Gypsy (thanks again Gypsy, I love my new babies!) - BG Signature 1.248 I VS2 for the centre & 2 x 0.36 I SI1s for the sides.

My brief to the lovely Denise at BGD was that I wanted it to be quite similar to the Tiffany Three Stone...
- cut outs at the side as per the BGD 'The Summer' to lighten up the side view http://www.briangavindiamonds.com/engagement-rings/three-stone/the-summer-18k-white-gold-5371w18
- diamond heights like the Tiffany three stone
- shank as per the BGD Classic Three stone http://www.briangavindiamonds.com/engagement-rings/classic-three-stone-18k-white-gold-5377w18
- ring size 7 or 7.25 (Can't decide... it's winter here and at the moment my 6.5 is perfect & 7.5 is too loose but that changes in summer so I'm not sure what to do just yet!)
Anyway, my thoughts now are around the height of the centre stone. I didn't want the side stones to sit underneath the centre stone and I'm wondering if I should lower the centre stone slightly which would push the side stones out slightly, resulting in a smaller variation in diamond heights. It might also give more finger coverage as the diamonds seem small compared to the ring. (How the heck can DSS start BEFORE I've even got the ring!!?)
Also, should I lower the height of the basket overall? The Tiffany setting seems to be a bit lower. This one isn't a biggie, but I'm interested in thoughts anyone might have.
I totally appreciate that the design is a personal thing but it's still really interesting to get feedback & perspective from others, particularly around the side stones in relation to the centre stone. Thanks in advance
