CADs from BGD - 20yr sapphire ering upgrade

Hey all, I''m working with Brian and Lesley on a setting for my 20-year sapphire ering upgrade. I just got the CADs today, so I thought I''d share. They came showing a diamond center stone, so I Photoshopped it to a blue to approximate what it will look like with the sapphire. (I must say I almost wish I''d never seen the center diamond - it looks so nice that now I keep thinking, Hmmm, maybe for our 30th...)

Here are the specs:
3.29ct cushion cut, untreated sapphire, violetish-blue (8.7 x 8.18mm)
18k white gold with approx .60 ctw tapered baguettes and .40 ctw squares
Brian explained that the metal in the CAD looks about 15% heavier than it will be in real life

Thanks everyone. Brian and Lesley have been so easy to work with. I sent them a couple of inspiration pictures, talked to them a couple of times, and they came up with exactly what I was envisioning.

vespergirl, good eye! A Jeff Cooper ring (R-3101) is the inspiration for this setting. The prongs are going to be different and the side diamond ctw is a bit different, too.

ficklefaye, no, I don''t mind, but I''m a little embarrassed, knowing I took a gamble. I bought this on ebay. I always imagined I''d use one of the gem vendors I read about on PS, but then an ebay seller I''ve used before listed this sapphire. It had a lab certification and the seller gave me a great return policy so I could get it tested and appraised. The stone turned out to be on the up-and-up and I got a great appraisal, so I kept it. Although I compromised a little on color (a bit darker than I originally wanted) and it''s native cut, I got the size I wanted for my bear-paw-sized hands, and at a price that let me splurge a bit on the setting.
