WAY cool. I adore those memoire bands. Seriously. Whats the ring size? I''m loving this project! Congrats!
It is a size 6.25! I love memoire but I just cannot justify the price. This band from BGD is literally 1/3 the price of the Memoire at a local jeweler! I know Pearlman''s is more reasonably priced, but still... but that''s just me, I am a frugal gal.

OK, I am a little cheap!
Nothin wrong with that!!!!

Oh wow - that is going to be stunning, and I am LOVING the pics of him doing the wax!

The ring is just beautiful!!!! I really love the design! I really enjoyed all of the pictures they sent you and I am amazed with their customer service. I am currently working with them on a recut and I was so impressed with their response time. Please post pics when you get it...

Gorgeous and GREAT customer service! Can''t wait to see the finished pics!

DD, you special ring is going to be gorgeous

. I love the pictures of Brian doing the wax. How great is that.

Thanks so much LTP, vanderaf (you must post pictures of your recut!!), AprilBaby, and Linda!

Lesley reports that she is very tickled at people all calling Brian "cool"

I'm not sure he gets that much in real life! LOL!

She also reports that this ring will most likely be included in their catalogue when their website is finally posted! Apparently most catalogue items at WF and now at BGD come from customer projects. If we don't want out stuff in a catalogue, however, all we have to do is tell Brian and Lesley and they won't include it.

Ooh, that ring is going to be beautiful for sure!

dd, I don''t think any of us asked you when you think you''ll have your ring.

I emailed Lesley yesterday to ask some questions about creating one of these for me, and I have my estimate but I really have to decide if I want ten or eleven stones. My orginal plan (based on the A. Jaffe ring I fell in love with) was for ten stones, but I want the chance to find a jewelry store that has an extensive selection of shared prong bands so I can try on a few to be absolutely sure. Oh darn! I HAVE to go shopping!

I''m looking forward to Brian & Lesley creating a catalogue of their designs but I already have two projects that I want to have done in the near future; this ring and a halo pendant. I''m actually afraid of them putting together a catalogue. More trouble for me to get into!

I actually have no idea when I am going to get it! LOL! I didn't ask. I am going to leave it as a surprise I think. One day I will just get an e-mail saying its ready... I assumed a couple weeks at least.

I tried on the 10 stone .50ct memoire, which was my inspiration for this ring, and it looks really good. I am a size 6.25 and the 10 diamonds pretty much covered my finger. But I wanted to make totally sure that you don't see a lot of metal on the sides. Ten .05 diamonds spans 24mm, and I presently own a ring with ten .08 diamonds which span 28mm. The diamonds on that ring cover the entire top of my finger, so I felt that adding another .05 to my BGd ring, making a total of 26.4mm of finger coverage, was the safest way to go! As you can see in the CADs, 11 stones covers just a smidgen less than half of the round. It is actually hard to find rings in this carat weight, so look for Memoire when you are out and see if you can try their 10 and 11 stone versions!

And my next project will also be a pendant! I want something simple and classy but a little bit larger than my current solitaire. I will use my .64 diamond but add some more smaller diamonds. That will probably happen next year though, we are done with diamonds for a while noW!
