CAD help, please

Hi everyone!

This is my first time having anything made, and I just got the first CAD. I'm not sure that it is what I really want. I'm trying to copy this Tiffany ring, and the CAD ring feels both too low (with the donut) and too steep (angle of baguettes). I'm also wondering if the part I circled will be as blocky in real life.

Can't comment because, unfortunately, the CAD is too small to make out much. Post in a bigger size...

The way the cads/renderings are I can’t see what you are meaning about the donut being too low? It’s view blocked by the additional band. As well as being small attachment and blurry.

The donut sits on your finger - do you mean the gallery rail?

I think copying the angles and proportions on rings that might have different size center stones and or finger size gets tricky. The vendor will need to adjust proportions to get the same flow & feel.
Not sure if this is the case - but that’s what I would ask the vendor to do - if this was my project.

That and looking at real photos (or in person) at a ring the vendor has actually done similar to this style - not renderings.
The end working / polishing of the ring from the bench will show real life results you should reasonably expect that renderings will not. This addresses your ‘too blocky’ concern.

So I posted three photos of the antique ring, three "photos" of the mock up and the CAD. So the 4-6 photos are the CAD imagined as a ring and not an actual ring.

Redid them as separate comments. First has three photos of the actual antique ring.

Second has CAD and mock "photos" of the ring they are making.

Center stone size is very close. I think one is 3.12 and one 3.09.
