Hi everyone! Been a long journey searching this site for what is my perfect engagement ring. I went from wanting a modern setting (Sholt half bezel) to an OEC with a vintage looking setting. Loved the AVR's at Good Old Gold but I really didn't see what I was looking for in our price range. I loved the Single Stone setting I saw here. So here is the CAD of the setting we are having made. My jeweler in town is a great guy and I'm glad with all the shopping, I did I come back to him. I think we are getting a great sparkly 1.19 GIA "J " color, VS2 stone. He did a great job of getting me the stone I wanted and the setting, well we will see in a few weeks 
I can't wait to see how it turns out either. I'm super excited! My birthday is 12/21 and my jeweler said it would take about 3 weeks. So perhaps either my bday or Christmas. Acinom, I love the way your ring turned out! It looks absolutely gorgeous. I emailed back and forth with Single Stone about our budget and I realized that it was a stretch to have them do the setting. So I was over the moon when my jeweler said he would be able to put it together for $2,000 less. I hope it turns out as beautiful as the settings I saw here. Pics of the real deal to follow in a few weeks.
