Bypass Settings

I spent a considerable time looking at bypass settings and found the prongs looked wonky on many of the stock designs. I ended up going with something that incorporated more of a semi-bezel idea.

With that said, these were my favorites (do not feature prongs prominently) -
WF's 'Iris':

Sholdt's 'Flora' from BGD:

I liked these options because I knew I would be able to find a great stone at the same place I found the setting, which makes a lot of practical sense.

Let us know of other options you have found, as this type of setting is very interesting!

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Some nice options. I like the aspect of the non-prong rings where the diamond doesn't stick out so much, but at the same time I want the diamond to be somewhat visible from the sides.

I don't know if all these choices is helping me make a decision or complicating things!

I know my girlfriend likes the bypass, but there are so many different types and I want to make this somewhat of a surprise.

Go with the should ones that are half bezel. A bezel is more secure, plus she will rarely be looking side view of her ring when its one.

Plus its a more attractive way to obtain the bypass look.

The Sholdt bypass is quite open in the front/back as compared to some others where you would just see solid metal. And the sides are completely open.
