our first dance was to Al Green''s "Let''s Stay Together". Hubby is a wonderful dancer and people kept asking us if we had memorized a routine or had lessons. Which made us laugh because we couldn''t even decide what we were going to dance to until a few days before the wedding (we don''t have an "our song").
our guest watching or first dance... there were so many cameras that day the dj had to make an announcement for everyone to back off a bit so the photographers could do their job.
bouquet toss -- you can see hubby trying to get in on the action but my sister (in the green) was having none of it! her aggression paid off when she DOVE head first fort he bouquet and came away the victor. it was quite a sight!
this was one of the fun-nest parts of the night -- our getaway! some of the older guests were getting tired, especially my side of the family who aren''t used to partying late. But as soon as we got them all lined up anf they were tossing petals, EVERYONE was laughing and grinning from ear to ear again an it was SUCH a wonderful last sight of our wedding to see everyone so happy and shining!
our photographers followed us downtown afterwards to take some more pics. i guess this would be like the trash the dress portion, but i had no idea thenm what TTD was! i did, however manage to sweep up a good portion of downtown with my train! but it was worth it because these were some of my fave shots of the night. a little sad that my hair was so messy (we love dancing and tore up the dance floor!). but so it happens with photojournalism i guess!
