Hi all! Well, the financial situation has improved so it''s time to get that diamond. I''ve been researching for months, and I''m going to order on Monday. Here are the diamonds it''s down to. The first two are very close in price, while the third and largest diamond is about $1000 more than the other two. I''m not sure how much of a difference in appearance that extra .10-.15 mm on length and width would make anyway. I would love and appreciate your suggestion among the following three:

Thank you for the recommendation. What about #1 stands out as being superior to the others? Was it the ASET report? Also, do you think the .15mm difference in length and width would make much of a viewing difference? Thanks again. :)

Thanks, I think I may go with that one. You don''t think there''s too much leakage, do you?

Does anybody think there''s too much light escaping from the Excel diamond? I see more white in that Ideal Scope picture than I''m used to seeing of AGS0 princess cuts.

I think I may go with the Excel diamond over the WhiteFlash one. While the depth concerns me a bit, it''s still an AGS0 in light performance, and appears larger than the WF stone. AND it''s $800 cheaper! I''ve had fun researching the last couple months, but I''m somewhat relieved to be done with it.

why does the depth concern you?

Well, it''s most likely not a valid concern. Most of the depths on the AGS0 diamonds I''ve seen were around 74%. I was concerned that, with a shallower cut, there may be some light escaping where it shouldn''t.
