Anyone bought a diamond ring from them? Was wondering if you can haggle with them? They have nice settigns and stones that are obviously over priced for the name.. My last ring I had my jeweler just re-create one of thier settings and bought a diamond off pricescope.. But was thinking of cutting corners this time and buy a whole rig..

No you won't be able to haggle, from everything I've heard on here. And I think the prices are even going up. There's someone selling a 3/4 ct D tiffany solitaire over in the preloved section. I don't know what you were shooting for, but if your budgets around 3600 I'd go that route.

HI:

No negotiating.

In case you are interested, there are plenty of Estate Tiffany diamond rings and wedding bands (with papers) from Oakgem.com

cheers--Sharon

I don't think they negotiate. Just in case you are also looking at Cartier, they are have a price increase I am told on April 29th.

brand name stores don't allow haggling or discounts.

Maybe this is just in Canada ... but I have a few friends that successfully negotiated at Tiffany for engagement rings. This was a few years ago and they managed to knock some off. Wasn't a massive amount but it was something.

Not true. For a fact, Harry Winston and Cartier does negotiate. There are many documented examples here on PS and I have real life proof that they do negotiate.

I am still curious as to who you are and why you don't introduce yourself into the PS community.

I didn't know that they allow that in the States. I travel around Asia regularly and I know the International stores in Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore don't allow haggling.
