Buying burmese jadeite

Hi

I am considering buying a Burmese jadeite stone, and would like to have a little update on the market situation for this gem.
I read an article from 2001 which stated that its cost was increasing steadily along whit Chinas economic growth. Is this still the case? And can it still be considered a good investment stone, or are the prices too high at the moment?
