Hi everyone,
I'm starting to look at diamond bands (not a solitaire) from these 2 sellers. My first question is, how big does each stone need to be so it sparkles in all lighting? Someone here said even the best cut small melee stone doesn't sparkle much in certain lighting. Would a 5 or 6 point stone avoid this issue, or do I need to go even bigger? I'll be wearing it by itself so I'm looking for the bling factor but without breaking the bank. Thank you!!!

Full eternity? What size finger? How much presence are you looking to have?

3/4 eternity, size 8 I think. It doesn't need to bowl anyone over, but I do want the stones to sparkle in all lighting. Thanks!

Also how can I add an avatar? Sorry about my ignorance!

On the main Rocky Talk page at the top you will see a box " S " click on that then click on edit to change the image .

10-15 pointers should do the trick.
Have you tried on rings to see what you like?

Thank you jp201845 and Matthews1127. Very helpful!

Does anyone else have an opinion on WF and/or HPD and minimum melee stone size/sparkle??

Thanks again!

I don't know about size but both WF and HPD are super ideal vendors and the melee they use are also super ideal so you can't go wrong with either vendor.

Hi DiamondBaby :wavey:
Your rings are gorgeous! Thanks for sharing. Ten pointers look perfect on you!
I looked at the Annette. It's really nice. My only concern is, how comfortable are the prongs? My hands are pretty sensitive I guess. I may need to go with a bar-set band for that reason.

Does anyone have a bar-set band? Any thoughts or photos? HPD/CBI has one. Seven 11-point stones. Do you think it sparkles as much as prong-set, or do the bars block more light?
Decisions, decisions. Thanks in advance for your opinions!

This is the one I am thinking about.

I find it fine, I always has two wedding rings, plain platinum bands with the engagement ring, one either side of it. So in terms of how they feel, I would say I feel a texture rather than something that is smooth or rough or pointy if that makes sense. I thought long and hard about the 3/4 Vs the 7 stone. I went with the 3/4 as I liked the coverage on my fingers compared to the seven stone ring. They do move a bit, but it’s not an issue. I would rather a little movement than really tight. I will have to get spacers to protect my engagement ring, but just deciding on what at the moment!!! There was also a big debate over the Annette that had the .05 instead of the .10 diamonds. I am very glad I went with the .10 size. I have a channel set eternity ring, smaller diamonds but a bigger ring, I found it quite bulky on my fingers. I rarely wore it.

Thanks DiamondBaby. This helps :)
