:loopy: Hello, man, I could really use some help...I am looking for an engaement diamond for my girlfriend...I came across a high quality estate diamond...1.02k,D,VVS2, VG cut, for about $9,700. Is that a fair price? Should I be concerned that it is an estate diamond and not a new one?... Is there a difference? Does that effect diamond value? Could someone tell the difference? Also, I have heard that modern cutting techniques are better and show more brilliance...is this correct? Thanks in advance,

Ken

You can do a price search on the front page.

Diamonds are forever - so the age does not matter, and just because a diamond is an older cut does not mean it is a lessor cut. - it sounds like a broken record - but an ideal-scope will work with any cut.
