No, in a VS1 the feather should not be of concern.

Edit...I would need to see up close pictures/videos of the stone to say whether buy/pass. Its depth is a little deeper
than we recommend. We usually recommend up to 62.2 percent.

I wouldn't be concerned about a feather in a GIA VS1. Do you have an ASET image or vendor photo?

I think it depends on how good the vision is of the person getting this jewelry.

For me, an inclusion at the VS1/2 level on the table is a deal-breaker just because at the wrong angle it could appear as a dusty bit that won't go away.
