I'd like some people to weigh in on a conundrum I am having about Burma rubies. If you had two stones of the same size and cut, which would be the better investment: a heat-treated pigeon blood red ruby, or an untreated red ruby?
What are the stone sizes?
How is the cut quality of the stones?
What is the level of heat in the ruby (minor, moderate, or significant flux residue)?
What is the clarity of the stones?
Who determined that it is blood red?
Do you have any paperwork from a highly respectable and independent lab?
