We adopted our little bunny girl a couple months ago. My husband converted a large dog crate into a two level cage for her bless his heart. Bunnies are very social and even though I try to spend time with her everyday, I still thought she might be lonely. Can't afford a bunny friend so......we gave her a stuffed bear.

No lie she carries the bear all over her cage, snuggles with it and even sleeps next to it. We love her lots

She is the sweetest thing. Doesn't like to be picked up but if I sit in front of the cage she will hop into my lap and she lets me pet her all over.

Adorable!!! :appl: :appl: :appl: :appl:

Do you take BunBun to the vet for nail clips or will she let you do them?

When we first got her, her nails hadn't been clipped in a year and were all curled. So we cut them the best we could then took her to the vet and they cut them for us. She will let us do it for the most part but it makes me nervous even though I cut my dog and cat nails with no problem.

StephanieLynn,

BunBun is so sweet!

What a wonderful idea to give her a teddy bear!

They're adorable together. :))

Couldn't be cuter!

I need to trim my bun's nails! It has been a few months!

He loves to cuddle though. Maybe I'll cuddle with him since I'm feeling sick.

BunBun is super cute! She looks very happy in her new home :appl: One of my bunnies played with a stuffed dog and carried it around too! I trim my bunny's nails - making a bunny burrito is pretty effective to keep them still while clipping.

Oh poor thing! Was she a rescue? I always got more nervous doing bunny things than dog or cat things because bunnies seem so fragile and easily frightened. Mine was a Holland Lop and weighed just a little over three pounds, and all her bones were so small I was always afraid that if she struggled and I tried to hold on, I'd break her, which made trimming claws hard because she did struggle, so I usually had to go one paw at a time over a couple of days, unless I could rope someone else in to hold her more securely. (tbh bunny burritos never worked for me. maybe I suck at wrapping them.)

Marquise Madness - your bunny is so adorable! Coming to you for headpets = the best.

She could not be cuter if she tried. LOVE that she has a bear - love the fact that you thought of giving her one!

Aww. too sweet.

I know zip about bunnies as pets.
I'd better not learn, because then I'd want one.
My SO would kill me if I brought another animal into the house.

How is your beautiful bird?

Did his tail feathers grow back?

distracts, we got her from a co-worker of my husbands. We watched her last year when they went on vacation and volunteered again this year only to find the last time we watched her was the last time she got her nails trimmed!! Poor thing. I hear you about the nail cutting though, they are very delicate so it's stressful.

Marquise, your bunny is so stinkin cute!

Kenny, you need a bunny in your life! Every bunny has its own personality but ours is very sweet natured but comes out to spend time with us on her terms, kind of like a cat. Really not a fan of keeping a pet in a cage but I don't want my dog to rough her up.

Thanks everyone for your sweet comments on BunBun she appreciates every one.

Awww so sweet.
Thank you for sharing pics of Bunbun and her bear. Truly precious.
