"bumper" on eternity band?

I'm trying to find alternatives to a space ring between two eternity bands and saw one that had almost a "bumper" on one side were smooth metal bumped out ever so slightly at the base of the eternity settings (i assume it was meant for the side that faces and rubs the other band). I can't find it now though, does this sound familiar/has anyone ever seen this type of design before?

The idea sounds possible, but I absolutely would want that element integrated into the whole design which would mean putting the wider part on both sides of the ring.
