Alright, I am ready to order a stone. I have read and studied all kinds of things online, visited a few stores and feel I know about as much as I am ever going to about engagement rings. Problem is, I am still stumped on what to buy.

Budget: I really don''t want to spend more than $6,000 on the stone. If I can get it under $5,500 that would be fantastic.
Ideally, I want a stone in the 1.33+ range (or at least that spreads like one).
G, H, I, J color
VS1, VS2, SI1 - maybe SI2 if it were really clean
Great cut. I want this thing to be really firey and blinged out.

I thought I had this thing figured out, until I started reading this site and found the halloway cut analyzer, my head started to spin.
I really don''t need a H&A, I just want something big, as firey blinged out as possible for under $6k. Can you help find me something?

If this info helps:::
I am planning on mounting it in 1 of 2 styles - not sure on exactly the ring yet:
diamonds on the ring, or diamonds on the ring and around the center stone

Cleve, with the HCA - it is used for elimination, not selecting diamonds. The aim is to score below 2, if the diamond does that then it is worth further investigation. This is done with images such as ASET, Idealscope and ultimately your own eyes.

The second diamond in your other thread is worth consideration if you can get an Idealscope image for it. I will have a look and see what is out there that might suit you.

You would need to ask for an Idealscope image of the diamond below
