Brown diamond value

Hi can anyone advise on whether this piece is fairly valued?

It is from Victor barbone. Yellow/brown diamonds. I am finding it hard to compare prices.

Victor Barbone is a reputable vendor.

True antique diamonds are getting harder to find and as a result are priced more expensively across the board.

Antique pear-cut diamonds, of any color and carat weight, are even harder to find.

Regarding your specific ring, while the side-stone OECs appear slightly lighter in color than the center pear-cut, the overall result is pleasing to the eye ... and the two side-stones do appear well-matched to each other in shape and face-up dimensions. Matching OECs are also quite difficult to find, in any color.

The center stone has a GIA report.

The setting appears well-crafted and would be easily resizable.

There is a 5-day return period.

Generally speaking, Victor Barbone is regarded as higher end in terms of pricing. While personally I think apx $9K is a bit on the high side for this ring, at the same time, finding a comparable is almost impossible and correspondingly the price reflects that ...

Perhaps it would be worthwhile for you to buy it and check it out in person, and avail yourself of the return policy if it doesn't meet your satisfaction?

I think that much of what was written above is exactly on point.
