I love briolettes! My mother has some colored champagne/chocolate diamond briolette earrings. I keep hoping she''ll give in and let me have them!

I hope you get them too! They are really interesting earrings. I found them at an antique show. They were just on wire earrings. my husband had them reset in this setting for Valentines Day one year.

I like the design! Briolettes sparkle and twinkle in a completely different way but I find them mesmerizing...

LOL - yeah we got a new DSLR camera and I was messing around trying to take good pictures. So they ended up in the same shot.

They are very unique and I feel lucky to have them. They are not common diamond earrings to have and they do have disco ball-esque quality.

I have no idea the size!

I''m guessing close to 0.30 - 0.35 like yours. We bought them from an antique show and it was years ago. I don''t think I even questioned the carat weight as I was so excited about the find. I''d never seen briolettes before.

He did it all on his own! He used a jeweler that we got to know when we went college in Champaign Urbana IL (U of I). He shipped them off to him and they came back looking like this. The jewelers name is Robert''s.

Robert is great! Tiny store but he usually has some AWESOME lose gemstones to oogle. He did all my wedding gifts for our wedding party and he also made my wedding pearls. And he also has a special interest in watches. I miss being close to that store!
