I agree 100%. And now that I am in a battleground state, I am even more paranoid than I used to be! Oh well, what can I do, right? Just make sure everything is filled out correctly and get it in on time I guess..

My Mom just e-mailed me back to say that she forwarded the article to Obama''s campaign. Hopefully, they will read her e-mail and become aware (if they weren''t already) that this is an issue. I definitely do not intend to undermine the message that an Obama ghost hanging from a tree represents, but I thought that it was interesting the he got the idea from a guy in NY that dressed up McCain in a KKK outfit and made him look like he was "chasing" Obama. Logically speaking, I don't know how one could be worse than the other. The noose is a disgusting symbol from one of America's darkest hours, and depicting McCain as someone who holds the ideologies of a KKK member is just as wrong, IMO. There are two sickos in that story.
As for if it will lead to violence, I hope not. There sure are some crazies out there. There has already been some violence, as was noted about the man beating the woman with her own sign (I cannot believe that hasn't made the MSM, could you imagine if a grown man who supported McCain beat an old lady with her own Obama sign?). The vandolized cars, too. It's why I've held off on getting a bumper sticker.

I just saw this: Dead bear covered in Obama signs A dead bear cub was found shot in the head and covered w/ stapled Obama signs over his head. Is this supposed to be a message to Obama? This is so sick! I have always been worried about this kind of stuff ever since there was talk of Obama running for the presidency. My husband assures me that both presidential candidates are surrounded by the secret service. I hope he''s right. I''m usually not a praying woman, but I''ll be hoping for the safety of Barrack Obama and his family.
