Hi everyone! I''m really drawn to the Brian Gavin Novela. It''s so classic and elegant. I was wondering if anyone has any opinions on Brian Gavin (BGD) settings compared to Leon Mege, Tacori, Ritani, etc. as far as setting quality goes. The BGD setting pictures that I''ve seen look nicely made and when I spoke to Lesley she said that the custom setting would only take 3 weeks. So, anyone have any comments about BGD setting quality, personal experiences, etc.? I''d love to hear your comments. Thank you!!!

Try a search on BGD and you will find many threads about their workmanship and quality. Although a newer company (a year on their own I think), they have been at this for a long time. They also stand by their work and if any diamonds fall out they will fis it for free if it is due to a manufacturing defect and for avery low fee if it is from normal wear and tear (pave is delicate).

Anyways, hopefully someone with experience with all of those companies will chime in.

I bought my first upgrade from Lesley when she and Brian were at Whiteflash. When I wanted to upgrade one last time, I knew I wanted a stone picked out by
Brian. By this time, they had left Whiteflash and opened Brian Gavin Diamonds. As a noobie, I totally relied on Lesley, and bought a J VS2 stone, that was truly one
of the loveliest things I had ever laid eyes on. Everything Lesley said was completely accurate, and from our first conversation I knew I could trust her. For my last
stone, Brian and Leslie found a perfect stone for me and I couldn''t be happier. Many of the settings you will see on PS were designed by Brian during his Whiteflash
days. You can see his new designs by going on his website blog and looking at his photos talk thread. They are all gorgeous!

There are many designers out there who do great work. I love Leon''s work and intend to have a ring made by him. Brian and Lesley''s work is equally as beautiful.
Leon''s designs are his and Brian and Lesley would never copy one of them. So if it is a Leon you love, go with him. Brian and Lesley can make you a design with the
same elements, or those of Tacori or another designer, but it won''t be an exact copy of their ring. Many people here can tell you of the quality of pieces they make,
they are wonderful.

I personally, am very fond of Lesley and Brian and think you would be very happy with anything they create for you. You can be confident that if they pick out a
stone for you it will be wonderful. They wouldn''t want to put their name on anything less. They are people of integrity.

I have only purchased a few items from other pricescope vendors and they have all been great. Brian and Lesley are very easy to work with and make the process
fun! Good luck and I can''t wait to see what you come up with!!!
