It's on the way!! Doesn't it look pretty? I'm picking it up tomorrow and can't wait to have it on my finger!
The basket looks delicate in the pictures, I can't imagine how tiny it will be in real life. The shank is 2mm, so the wire basket must be between .5 and 1mm. Those tiny prongs! I'm so excited!

For reference, it's a .971 E SI2 (completely eye clean), AGS000 Blue from Brian Gavin set in the Grace Solitaire in PT.

6.35 x 6.37 x 3.90 mm
AGS Ideal 000
Medium Blue Fluor.

No handshots yet, because I can't leave work for three more hours! It's killing me! My ring is being held at Fed Ex for pickup right now!
  :loopy:

I have that setting. You'll love the basket and prongs. They're so delicate and pretty!

I know how hard it is to wait! Time will fly!!!

Can't wait for hand shots!

BEAUTIFUL!!!!

It turned out great! Very pretty ring and diamond.

Classic! Looking forward to hand shots!

Elegant!

Here are some handshots. I just love it! The basket is very delicate, yet I know it will be strong. I love the side view of the pavilion and the culet. I was worried about a tiny black crystal that is visible from the pavillion, but I can barely see it unless it is magnified and only because I know where to look. It looks clean and clear from the side otherwise. Face up is totally clean. The Grace setting is very pretty and feminine! I feel that it will go with anything and won't look dated in 10 years. I am in love!

I am wearing a cheap SS band to see if I like the width before I buy a platinum one. My fingers are squishy so it looks tight here but actually it is very loose and needs the band there to tighten things up a bit and keep it from spinning.

Gosh, it looks beautiful! And I love that band - it matches & compliments perfectly  I'd buy the platinum one without hesitation.

I think it looks magnificent! And I do love the "matchy" plain band!

Perfect!

I'm so sorry that you had problems with your first setting, but this one is just exquisite and has such a classic timeless look to it. I am glad it all worked out well for you and I think the matching plain band would be fabulous.

It's gorgeous!! Looks so elegant on your hand and I'm really loving the band width with it. I'm so glad you're a happy camper!!

It is beautiful and I would definitely consider that matching platinum band!

Gorgeous! Your ring is just beautiful and I love the plain band with it!

How much are you loving having a perfect setting and a stunning stone which was masterfully cut right now?

Enjoy!

So glad you now have your beautiful diamond set in such a grace(ful) setting. The two rings look great together.
