A friend of mine just found the website for Brian Gavin Diamonds. She is trying to find someone to design a customized 3 carat diamond ring she wants to purchase as a gift for her mother inlaw. Have any of you purchased custom diamond rings from Brian Gavin and were you happy with the results?

Many people here have bought settings from BG and been happy with them. A few have done custom. But BG is a diamond seller, first of all. If she is buying the diamonds from him, then yes, that is a possibility. I personally usually go to a custom ringmaker to have a setting made regardless of where I buy the diamonds. I'd encourage her to look at more ringmakers and see whose work would be a good fit for her project.
