Branded Hearts and Arrows

I was wondering about branded and non branded hearts and arrows. Is there a difference between the two other than one is certified and costs alot more? If a really well cut non branded diamond displayed a perfect hearts and arrows pattern under a scope would it be any different than a branded hearts and arrows diamond?

What do you mean by certified? There is no agency that certifies diamonds.

Maybe comes with a 'certificate' as in GIA AGS EGL is what he means?

Hi ACF,

The short answer to your question is that you can easily get an unbranded H&A that is equal to or better than alot of brands. This however (IMO) must be presented with photographic evidence. This is the only way to accurately show whether a branded or unbranded stone is superior/inferior in it's optical precision. I can point you to branded stones that are optically inferior to unbranded and vice/versa. Hope that helps somewhat.
