Just sign up to "stumbleupon" and, after entering your interests, you will have a little button on your browser you can click on and new pages will just keep on appearing -I've discovered so so many great sites with this! But it is also INCREDIBLY addictive!

I love the Onion! It's a spoof newspaper with headlines, stories and videos like this:

Pope Supports Gay Marriage After Meeting Charming Connecticut Couple

Tensions Mount After North Korea Destroys All Of Asia

Chess Prodigy Gives Up Game After Getting Laid

Little Clay Thing Bought At Arts Festival (I laughed for 10 minutes at this one; http://www.theonion.com/articles/little-clay-thing-bought-at-arts-festival,20915/ THAT's how goofy my sense of humor is! )

It's at http://www.theonion.com/

There's some kind of video when you first get on, but I just click on the "skip" button. I think it's hilarious. :)

I love to play games on Sporcle.

When I'm bored and feel like surfing the web, I either google random information and then read about whatever I found, or I end up researching stuff for work. I'll have to check out the sites mentioned in this thread though.

I recently got into Pinning- at Pinterest.com

You can organize and save various things you like and find online- like DIY projects, decorating ideas, recipes, jewelry, etc. And the best part is, Pinterest saves the original location of the link so you can always go back to it. I only started last week, but have pinned so many things already!
JSYK, I am totally addicted to this because of your suggestion. What a marvelous website! LOVE LOVE LOVE!

I love the Onion too! I hadn't seen these headlines before...too funny. A few months ago that had a good one about an abortion mall or something like that. All kinds of people posted it to facebook not realizing it was a spoof. I need to check out the onion more regularly!
