I''ve been looking for some diamond studs and was getting a bit overwhelmed with all of the options. I saw that BlueNile has its 24 hour deal where the 1 ctw studs in white gold are $1325. Alternatives that I''ve been looking at are at least $500-1000 more. I''ve been searching for 1-1.2 ctw, I color, eyeclean, with a very good or ideal cut.

I''m wondering if it''s a good enough deal to take, or whether I should continue searching for stones elsewhere. Any advice?

Wouldn't do it. Minimum guaranteed cut is "good", which really isn't so good.




You can build your own ~0.9ctw for that same price - you won't see the 0.05ct difference in each ear, but you WILL see the difference between a "good" and an "excellent" cut stone.
