Hi ladies,

I would really appreciate your thoughts/assistance with something I have been pondering.
12.gif

At this point I have selected a BM dress that I think will perfectly suit the look/feel/color/formality of our wedding and will compliment varying body types. While I''m perfectly fine with the idea of all of my bm''s & my moh wearing the same dress, of late, I have been considering opting to get a different style dress for my MOH to distinguish her from the other BM''s. My dilemma is that I just can''t seem to find one that I think "matches".

- I''m looking for long but not too big and overpowering as my MOH is petite. Nothing too form fitting, mermaid, for example, b/c she would not be comfortable in that as her bottom half is her self-defined "problem" area but strapless is fine with her.

- I would like it to be the same color (Peridot) & material (Silk Yoryu) as the other bm dresses, however, if anyone of your geniuses can whip up something that compliments the existing palette - I''m not completely averse.

- Although I realize that this may indeed by my most limiting factor, I would also like the dress to come from Priscilla of Boston''s Vineyard Collection as this is the line to which the BM dress belongs.

I appreciate your assistance!!

THANK YOU, kindly.

Here are some additional details & pictures for you to try and help you out ....

Wedding Colors - Pistachio & Gold

This is the BM dress.

Style # 1302

Hmmm. I may have just taken care of my own question ...
What do you think about this style, style# 1301 (in Peridot, of course), in relation to, the above???

Too similar and not worth differentiating?

I like this one as one that sort of matches but distinguish itself. I think the horizontal ruching complements the vertical ruching of the BM dress. The one you posted is nice as well, but I think the silhouette is pretty similar to the BM dress.

Hey, it's my favourite baby cougar

Haha, seriously Sparks, you don't ask for too much, do you - lol

Given the strict requirements, I think that second dress you posted would be great for your MOH. However, I just wanted to point out that peridot doesn't seem to be option for that dress. But, they do have it in clover which is a darker green. FWIW, your original BM dress is offered in both peridot and clover. Are you committed (emotionally or financially) to the peridot? If you are, then maybe the best option is to have your MOH wear the same dress as your BM's, but have her carry a different bouquet to differentiate her from the other ladies. Let us know what you decide.

Ditto to that one I just didn''t post if cause I don''t trust my own taste, I love the one you picked as well I think either one would work beautifully.

I adore your wedding colours

Thritto I think that one matches better.

How old is your MOH? Does she like any of the other dress options? Just my opinion, but i think the 1205 that everyone is liking looks more MOB than MOH, especially considering how youthful the other bridesmaid dress is. I would either put your MOH in another color or with another bouquet if it is important to distinguish her. Honestly, though, you picked a stunning dress option for your BMs, so your MOH should get to wear that one, too!

Thanks jstarfireb!! I appreciate your help.
The dress you selected, style# 1205 (attached picture) is really nice. I quite like it but I''m not positive that it is exactly what I wanted for the MOH. I thought it was pretty funny because clearly I''m confusing or confused ... as you stated, the other dress I selected, 1301, has a similar silhouette to the BM dress ... this is what I wanted, but I also want it to be different??!!!
33.gif
So, really. What do I want??! Ugh! The more I think about it, the more confused I make myself!

Thanks again for your help ... I''m going to take a look at the two dresses beside each other and try and figure this out!

I KNOW! I''m awful. While I was writing that I was like, seriously??!! I didn''t give you many options, did I? Thanks for your input, anyways, and for working within my strict guidelines.
25.gif

I just looked up style 1301 again ... Click Here and it does appear to come in peridot!
36.gif
What a relief! When I read your post, I thought that that would just figure, wouldn''t it??!

I''m emotionally committed to my Pistachio and Gold color scheme so the Peridot dress color works perfectly with it. I wouldn''t necessarily want to do a different green. I was thinking that maybe they had something in a goldish type color that might work.

I like your idea about the different bouquet. That''s a great idea! I may very well follow up on that. I''m going to ask the MOH what she thinks and which dress she prefers. If she likes one of the suggested ones more than what the other bm''s are wearing, then she can wear that. If not, we''ll get her a different bouquet.

Thanks so much!!

Hi Deelight! You are too cute... don''t trust your own taste.
38.gif
You have fabulous taste, you silly girl!

Thanks for helping out! I thought I had this all nailed so this new found confusion is driving me nuts! I may just go back to square one and keep it simple. They all wear the same dress and, as per Pocahontas'' fab idea, give the MOH a different bouquet. We''ll see. Hmmpf?!

I''m glad that you like the wedding colors - Thank you! I fell in love with them as well. I think that they suit us and our wedding perfectly!

Which one ... 1301 or 1205?

Hi Katamari!

Great questions - thanks!!

MOH is 33. She likes both 1301 and 1302 so far and hasn''t seen 1205 yet. She hasn''t expressed a preference yet though. Thanks so much for the compliment ... I really like the 1302 style as well and I

the peridot color!! It is perfection!
I really think that you ladies might be on to something ... the different bouquet with the same dress, might be the way to go!

Sorry about the confusion with the colours. It was late last night when I posting and I guess I missed it. I''m glad I was wrong. I love your colour scheme and I do think peridot is the perfect shade of green
36.gif
I''m glad you like the bouquet idea as a possibility. Let us know what you and your MOH decide.
