Bluenile / Whiteflash Question

Hi, i''m the person trying to decide between 2 asschers..... here''s the thread https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/which-asscher-please-help.127760/

I''ve been dealing with bluenile. Someone suggested whiteflash to me so i just took a look and i think i found the identical stone. Does that seem correct? Can i possibly buy the same stone from a different site?

That probably is a virtual stone, list on an online database that both vendor can call in. If WF has it listed, I would get them to call it in instead of BN for the extra information on the cut that they can give you.

All the diamonds i pulled up on Whiteflash say.... not yet rated, i''m assuming this is because they dont have them on site.

So I called blue nile.... no, they wont send me pics, and no, i cant fly down to view any of the stones in person.

I dont know very much about about whiteflash but i think i''m going to do some research on them. I''m just not feeling super comfortable, i told bluenile my concerns about not seeing them and they told me that at the level of quality of the stones they sell.... they''d all look similar. I just dont think that''s the case with asschers.

Sigh, i''m nervous and stressed and now i feel like i''m starting over on my search, so much for buying this week.

dont rush and buy something if you are not sure
its better you do some research and be very happy with your purchase
dont forget that whiteflash will charge you for bringing in the stone for analysis if you do not wish to buy the diamond for whatever reason

you will get alot of advice from this forum
take your time to search for something that you will be happy with

Don''t be stressed, we will help you, buying an Asscher by numbers is not the way to go, at a minimum detailed photos, an ASET image and a Sarin or Helium scan is needed to judge these shapes so stick to vendors who can provide these tools. A bit of time spent researching will pay dividends in the long run.
