I see that some other vendors also offer the petite nouveau setting, so I'm concluding that it must be a stock setting? does anyone know which vendor supplies it?
I am looking at a ~3ct emerald cut, and my original setting eons ago was a petite nouveau. For sentiment's sake I'd like to use the same setting, but the vendor I purchased from doesn't have it, and blue nile doesn't sell it in yellow gold anymore. Ideally I'd like to order it in yellow gold shank with a platinum head. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense to have a piece custom designed to match what I assume is an off-the-shelf setting unless I have to, so if I can have the jeweler order it from a casting house that would be better...
