Blue Nile Pearl & Pink Sapphire Gift

I'm always entering any online competition I see, and today I got a letter from Blue Nile saying that I'd won a fifty dollar gift cert. I found that I could combine it with a promo code to get $50 off. So I ended up getting $100 off these pink sapphire and pearl earrings!

Last week I had a fortune cookie and it said I was going to have a day of great good luck so perhaps this is it!

I had a good friend who used to enter every contest she found..magazines , on line etc... she had a steady stream of stuff showing up at her door ... might have been a big box of frozen peas..but it was all free! You did much better than the frozen peas! I love those earrings! So very pretty !! Well done !

Sorry it's taken me 18 months to get round to posting these! But I think you'll agree that they're worth the wait. They are 14k rose gold and pink sapphire. The pearls are 9.5mm freshwater and very round, and once again more lustrous than they appear in these photos. In real life they look like freshadamas. ETA - just taken another photo which shows the luster better. The BN description says the pearls are lightly spotted but I can't see a single spot on mine.

Thanks, Siamese and D2B! The silly thing is that I never wear them - I'm not in the habit of doing so. It doesn't mean that I love them any the less, though.
