I cannot get good ear shots - still blurred even when the camera says the shot is in focus. It gives you an idea, anyway.

Very pretty. I love that shade of blue.

Thank you, everyone! I am a "winter" in terms of coloring so icy shades like these suit me. :wavey:

Where did you get these beauties?

Hi, CravingDiamonds, they are from a rock and mineral store near me, an independent. They have fossils and minerals, but mainly jewelry. The jewelry is mostly inexpensive and set in sterling silver, but the range of stones is incredible, things I've never heard of like larimar, rhodocrosite, sphene, and sunstone. I have a number of really pretty things from there and keep meaning to do a thread, but I'm doing the most special pieces like the abalone shell and the blue chalcedony separately. It's much more inexpensive jewelry than I'm usually drawn to but I've become really attached to this little store. It's humble and good value - and it really is like an Aladdin's cave in there. I have some ruby drop earrings from there, a pink tourmaline ring, a gorgeous iolite necklace, and green onyx bangle, and more - I keep meaning to do that thread.
