I don''t really consider 11K "snark-worthy"...they''re not THAT expensive so as to be offensive. My e-ring is worth a lot more than that.

Agreed. And I believe that Cindy McCain's studs were worth $300k or something obscene like that (at least at retail price no PS prices!)...quite a difference.

Let me just say in a non-partisan fashion that I love seeing all the candidates/wives jewels! As long as they can afford it, more power to them! Mrs. Obama has great style!
