ARGH! In much the same way that the upside-down pear "rose-cuts" make me crazy, the "Victorian," "polki," "rustic" diamonds make me want to scream. Dudes, slap them with complimentary terms if you like, but could you just not LIE to my FACE? All of these words have meaning! Gah!

I can't decide what irks me more, the abuse to which they are subjecting the English language, or the abuse to which they are subjecting those poor diamonds ....

Hey ... that is close. Can't tell what I think about it yet. This style is kinda outside my usual comfort zone --- yet I am intrigued. Been really loving all the Indian/"Arabesque"/lotusy kind of things w/rose cut or rustic stones. Just not sure it's an ownership kind of love!
