I would appreciate any info on black diamonds.

Are black diamonds pure carbon?

I've only seen them in round stones, are they cut any other way?

Are they as valuable as a clear diamond?

I'm not sure whether they are pure carbon. There is nothing absolutely pure in the nature. There are always other impurities.
