Black Cats and Halloween

My cats eyes are actually light brown, and yellow/green around her pupils...

I did learn something really interesting though, which is that all kitties have blue eyes when they are born, just like humans! I will post a pic of Lucky right when we got her and it was crazy... a black cat with blue eyes! But they ended up changing and are now darker, brownish. Wouldn''t work... hang on!! sorry she is sooo dirty but they were only about two weeks old when we got them!!!

ha and I thought this one is soo cute.. we had to bottle feed them for two weeks because they were found so young, so we had to be their mommies.. me and my BF... two more pics...

ha one more.. they were only 1/2 a pound when we got ''em so I can''t believe how tiny they were, looking back!!! She is smaller then my foot!!

After AmberG''s mom so graciously adopted Missy/Victoria a gorgeous black female cat with green eyes took up residence in our patio. We boarded her starting last week to protect her, got her tested (everything negative... YAY)... and WE FOUND A HOME FOR HER LAST NIGHT. So we''re still holding her at the vet through Saturday, but then she''s going home.

She is beautiful, we named her Lucy and I she looks just like MishB''s black cat. Beautiful.

I''m so happy she''s got a forever home. Black cats are wonderful, truly. I think people are idoits who think otherwise.

YAYYY Gypsy!!! That''s great news!!!

Here''s a photo of Mr. Morton (adopted from Animal Control as a kitten - he and his three littermates were all black) - I swear I didn''t pose this. I had the ghoul that was to hang from our porch in our entry way, and I just set it down in the chair when I needed to get into our coat closet. The next time I walked into the room, here was my Halloween black cat:

I know she doesn't look much like a cat but here is "my" black cat Tsukiko. She was found abandoned at barely a week old and I raised her and eventually my sister adopted her. I think this was right after I got her, I was bringing her to work and keeping her in a photo room so I took the opportunity to do a shoot
