I was thinking of getting .25 ct bixbite gemstone and having it set in 18kt gold setting. I'm just not sure if it should be set in white or yellow, any thought?.
I think it''s a matter of personal preference and what looks good on you. Personally, I think red gemstones look better in yellow gold than they do in white.
Red stones do tend to show their color better on a yellow background. Bixbite is a pretty unique stone! You'll have a kick explaining to your friends that is a red emerald...sort of!
