Birthstone Jewelry

I am the first to admit I don't know much about colored stones. I do know what my eye finds attractive and that as with diamonds, I really appreciate a unique cut over most else. I've been on a mission to have family birthstone jewelry with one piece already complete. That is the ring for my two sons (Garnet by Top Notch and an unheated Tanzanite by Caleb Quashen) made by CVB and now I'm on to a pendant representing me, DH, my mommy, and my brothers.

This is the collection I've curated. A funky little octagon diamond (for no reason other than I do love a diamond), an unheated sapphire again from Caleb, a custom cut unheated pink topaz from the genius Jeff White, an unheated purple gray spinel sourced by CVB, and a green beryl by Glen Pruess (my brothers are May but emerald is beyond me). Phew!
