I know I'm not alone in loving this show. But in order to avoid spoilers for anyone... this post is ONLY for past seasons, not current season.

Post (from You tube so we can all enjoy watching them with you!) you top three favorite Big Bang Theory moments.

Here are mine:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xmotigTTTUY Watch whole clip. Sheldon on Football and growing up in Texas.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BnbI1bkIiFg Howard and survival training with Nasa.

This is my husband's favorite: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PrX3EmdKtRc Howard's mom's meatloaf

YOUR TURN!

Remember to post the clip!

Oh man, I couldn't even easily pick out my favorites, but I watch re-runs every night and laugh all the time. I'm so happy that "nerds" like me have a show ;)

Hands down: rock, paper, scissors, lizard, Spock.

Love love love love this show.

1. Sheldon meets Amy

2. Howard and the Robot Arm...the nurse makes the scene.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_k0bzMWFNls

3. The Einstein Approximation...Bazinga
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jvNKF4zRYwg

And I'm so cheating because I have too many favorites...

4. Penny and the painting.

I can't choose!! But I *LOVE* ALL the characters! My favorite used to be Sheldon, but I've fallen in love with all of them!
All the episodes are online, so if anyone missed the new season, go watch! :D

I don't know if and when I can participate in the game, but I am at the stage of perusing people's choices and refreshing my memory about the clips. (I really, really, really love this show!) I just rewatched the clip in which Sheldon gives Amy the tiara. I remember that when I first saw it I thought of Pricescope and The Tiara Thread (in which I participate). I really hope that Lady Maria, an active participant in that thread and a teacher, watches this show and saw this episode!

I LOVE Sheldon's mom!! Political incorrectness has never been funnier!!

I love Sheldon's mom and I love the stories he tells about her, too. One description of how his house looked on Christmas was absolutely howlingly funny. Especially because it was delivered by Sheldon with such distaste. The actual decorations were something I could probably have lived perfectly happily with myself!!! But, hey, I don't mind tons of Christmas lights and a manger!

I can't even tell you how many times I've watched and rewatched BBT - it's usually what I put on the background. Too many to choose from, but I love:

Penny's Christmas gift to Sheldon

Friendship algorithm

I just rewatched your two favorites, B.E.G. I had thought that "The Friendship Algorithm" might bring up the episode I love...but it didn't. I can look for mine at some point unless someone knows its name offhand. It's the episode in which Sheldon starts talking to the little girl in the bookstore and Leonard drags him away before he gets mistaken for some kind of pedophile.

I really perked up when Amy was introduced. I love Sheldon's mother, but she doesn't hold a candle to Amy! My only quandary is whether I love to watch Amy more with Sheldon or with Penny. Wonderful character! She is introduced in the episode below. What isn't shown in the film clip is this background: Sheldon's friends had entered his personal information into a computer dating service without his knowledge, then blackmailed him with the possibility that a dirty sock was hidden somewhere in his apartment and that he would never learn its whereabouts unless he agreed to meet his computer match. To the amazement of everyone, Sheldon and Amy actually match!

I found the episode on YouTube, albeit with foreign language subtitles!

I listed the meeting of Sheldon and Amy below before noticing that you had it on your list, audball. I did notice that you had another favorite of mine on your list, however, the meeting between Sheldon and Amy's mom. I absolutely love that episode and the short shrift that the video clip makes of it really doesn't do justice to the episode! And I share your love of how Priya dissects The Roomate Agreement. You made great choices!

I really don't know if I could narrow down my favorites, I love this show so very much! I still giggle when I watch episodes that I have seen 15 times!

What about this one? It is billed as "the best scene ever" and it sure got a lot of hits on YouTube (well over a million!). It wasn't as good seeing it out of context without the show, but seeing it again certainly made me laugh all over again! You have to remember where all the characters were and what they were doing the night before they had to sit up on that dais and give that presentation!

I don't think I can contribute a favourite to this thread --- because each show is SOOOO amazing! I think I've spent the bulk of the last hour looking thru all these clips --- I'm in tears!!!!

They are all awesome! Ah, Sheldon rocks!!!

These are so great! They really made my night.

Another of my favorite episodes...and I am not going to post the clip because there is no one clip of everything I like in one videoclip on YouTube...is the episode in which Amy first gets to be friendly with "the girls" (i.e. Penny and Bernadette).

One clip on YouTube shows her approach to Penny in The Cheesecake Factory-which is classic. She states, with solemn affect, "I'm a girl" when Penny tries to explain that the little party at her house (for her and Bernadette) is not for the fun-loving Ph.Ds with whom Amy usually gets her kicks.

Then another clip has her recounting the exceedingly bawdy old English story called, I think, "The Miller's Tale" at what has turned out to be a slumber party. And another clip has her wistfully telling Penny how much she would like to have a slumber party since she has never been to one. Then yet another clip shows one of the party games the women play.

Maybe I should try to find the four clips and recreate as much of the episode as I can....

OMG LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS SHOW!!!!

I can't think of three right now, but my all time favorite is when penny gives sheldon the napkin for x-mas!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mlhHTdDqoBc

I think this is my favorite episode as well. So, so classic!

It's funny, I had never seen the show for the first couple of years it was on. It was a night I typically watch TV. I was on a flight from ATl to DC though and Delta showed an episode as part of their in air entertainment. I killed myself laughing and have been watching ever since. Great, great show!

I don't think I will ever tire of BBT - even when I feel like crap, I can still get out a good laugh watching this.

Faves:
- Sheldon and his rivalries are awesome - "WHEATON!!!"
- Raj and his inability to talk to women while sober
- The parents (Leonard and Sheldon's moms, Raj's parents on Skype)
- Amy!
ETA the chain smoking monkey (marcel?) "if I'm going to give him lung cancer, the least I could do is let him watch cable"

The cameos from the sci fi stars are always epic. (Levar Burton sticks in my mind "oh, I don't think so. I am SO done with twitter..."

What's even more cool is that Mayam Bialik really has a PhD in neuroscience. She doesn't just play a neuroscientist on tv.

I couldn't possibly pick a favorite but that show makes me laugh. It has such a great cast that all interact so well with each other.

My niece did get to be in the audience when she was doing an internship for her film program for Ithaca College in California. She got to do a lot of things that had her brushing up against celebrities as it seems one does in the Los Angeles area. But on the set of"The Big Bang Theory" she was really impressed with how sweet the actors who played Raj and Leonard were towards the audience, who had to sit for long periods of time with no action in front of them. She said that those actors always had time to smile and wave to audience members and that Johnny Galecki actually hugged a girl to whom cast members drew his attention when they saw she was wearing an "I love Johnny" shirt. My niece said she looked like "a nerd", very studious, etcetera, and that when the crew and Johnny were so kind to her, my niece burst into tears!

This is a link to a YouTube video I really enjoyed. It is a clip of an interview between Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik. (They interview each other.) I have to say that I was surprised at how attractive sI found her after having watched Amy Farrah Fowler. I find her face delicate and lovely.

Wow, what a difference between her real appearance and that of Amy Farrah Fowler! The show does a good job of hiding her attractiveness when she's in character.
