The hardest part was having the ring sitting in its hiding spot for 2 weeks while I waited for our ski trip to Utah to propose. Obviously, I couldn't wait so halfway through the first day we got up to the top of the mountain and I pulled her to the side overlooking a nice vista and popped the question. She said yes, and the ring looks amazing on her.
It's a BGD Signature 1.51ct H SI1 set in the BGD Tiffany style knife edge. Her ring size is 4.75. I just can't be happier with how it looks. I love the classic solitaire and the setting just lifts the stone right off the finger. And my god does it sparkle. She can't stop looking at it. These are just some iPhone pics. I'll post more during the week. Here are some glamour shots, too, although when you look at them compared to the hand shots, you realize the ring is meant to be on a finger.
Thanks again to everyone on this board for educating me.
