Thanks again to Pricescope for pointing me to Brian Gavin Diamonds, and helping me decide on a stone.

The setting is the BGD Tiffany knife-edge solitaire (six prong), with a 0.818 G SI1 H&A diamond.

The 'glamour' shots just arrived and I'm expecting to pick up the ring tomorrow. Here you go!

Wow, thanks for all the feedback everyone! It's great, esp. because I'm a first-time diamond buyer.

I'll pick up the ring tomorrow and provide some 'real-world' shots.

Some "real-life" photos from today. It's in a vintage blue leather ring box I found at a second-hand dealer (needed something small enough to fit in my pocket!).

Hello, this ring is just gorgeous! It is exactly what I am looking at as far as a setting to accommodate a very modest ER upgrade (.70 to a full Carat round) to celebrate our 10th anniversary this month! I really like the rounded or knife edge look, but my existing wedding band is a squared off half eternity band of channel set diamonds. . . I am not sure if that is the correct term. I will attach a photo if needed.
So my question is: Would anyone be able to advise me as to whether I need to keep with this same profile or can put the two together? I prefer the rounded or knife edge look for the ER, and really want to keep my current wedding band but not sure how they would look and feel next to each other. Thanks so much for any input!
