BGD Grace owners: show me your wedding band!

Not sure if this belongs in the RockyTalky forum but I''ll give it a stab here first.....

I know that the Grace setting is relatively new but I''m wondering what wedding band people have chosen to go with their Grace setting. I know that BGD makes a matching plain band to go with the e-ring. But I''m wondering if anyone has been able to find an eternity ring (or part eternity) to match with the Grace setting. Everything I''ve tried on so far has not sat properly with the band of the e-ring. Either the w-band has rubbed against the prongs of the basket, or the w-band has been too high so that it sits higher off the finger than the Grace band.

Lesley has mentioned that they would be willing to make an eternity style wedding band to match the Grace e-ring. But I has reservations about going custom.

Anyhoo, if anyone has photos of their Grace and wedding band (aside from the matching BGD band) please post!

I did a band by Leon. It is his bead set eternity. I am making it a little thicker, about 2.2 mm wide. My band is estimated to be 1.5mm high and the Grace is estimated to be at the most 1.8 mm high (Brian said it would probably be 0.1-0.2 mm shorter after it was set and polished.

The band was just completed and is shipping to my FI today. I won''t see it until Thursday and we are going away this weekend, so the soonest I can have pics is mid next week.

I don''t think you could go wrong by going with BGD and having to do a custom setting.

Also, have you looked at TIffany''s? They are the only company I know of that makes very low settings without going custom.

I think if you look for pave set bands you will have the best luck! This chared prong band with facets is the lowest profile I was able to find during my search for a diamond band with an ultra low profile http://www.thefacetscollection.com/item.cfm?item_id=2173 Facets is a very good company with a great return policy so you can always order it and try it out.

My fishtail pave wedding ring from WF is a perfect match. There are pictures here:

Also, I think the (very delicate) Tiffany Metro rings would work and look very beautiful. That would add a lovely row of tiny diamond shimmer.

I haven't seen the Memoire eternity bands in person to know for sure, but I believe that some of them have a more shallow "depth" and might work, too. Especially if you wanted a little more blingier look (bigger stones).

Also, of course Brian could make whatever you want, and I don't think you could go wrong.

But, (and I've said this before!

) I LOVELOVELOVE it best with its plain matching platinum wedding band. Something about that classic, timeless combo that makes my diamond POP and my heart go pitter patter!!!

The hight of the Grace shank is just under 1.8 mm, so when looking at wedding bands, I would look for something that is slightly shorter than that.

Lynn B: Yes I DO love the look of the plain platinum wedding band with the Grace. Its so cool, crisp, clean and sexy looking. But I would also like to get a w-band with bling to stack or wear as an alternate to the plain band.

I have tried on the wedding bands at Tiffany, though I don''t think I''ve tried on the Metro rings. Are those the very fine bands? I think they are too thin...I got the Grace with a 2.5mm wide band. I know that of all their stock wedding bands, none really worked with the Grace except their plain platinum bands which only come in 2 mm or 3mm.

Going custom through BGD is definately still an option. I was hopeing to see more photos of other who have the Grace and see what blingy wedding band they''ve paired it with. Guess I"ll have to wait and see.....
