BGD Diamond help

Hi Everyone,

I've been on this site for about 2 months reading everything I can, and about ready to buy.

I think I've settled on a BGD Blue diamond but there aren't too many of them in stock in my range.

I'm looking to spend about $2500 on the diamond.

This diamond looks almost exactly what I'm looking for, except I'm a bit concerned that I can see a black spot on the face. Would that be noticeable when not magnified? (I've sent an email asking if it's eye clean) Should I look for an SI1? How often do they get new diamonds in?

I've also spent a lot of time on Whiteflash, but prefer the BGD Tiffany style tapered half round setting.

Those images are SUPER magnified. Now, what you will see in real life when it's set is all based on your vision. Everyone has different eye-strength, and everyone has a different definition of "eye clean" so clarify theirs before you hinge your bets on it.

It IS a nice stone though, so if they don't think that one will work for you, ask what they have that might work in your budget since you like the setting they have.

Looks like a nice stone and I think that the stone will be eye clean.

That inclusion could bother some people. It's an SI2 for a reason. When in doubt I suggest purchasing the stone and seeing it for yourself before you get it set. If you don't like it you can return.

BGD said that it was eye clean, so I think I'm going to get the diamond and if it's eye clean to me I'll use it.
