BGD (2ct) - this doesn't look right to me...

I think I see what you are talking about.

The arrow at the 1pm position is slightly off. The little piece between the arrow and arrow head is slightly off to the right, instead of centered. You see this best on the IS image. On the ASET image, one green side is about double the size of the other.

The arrow at the 4pm position appears to have a smaller contrast cluster to the bottom and right of the arrowhead (assuming you orientate the arrow straight up & down). Again, you can see on both the IS and ASET images.

As you probably know, green signifies less intense light return. Orange indicates intense light return. Purple is contrast and important for scintillation and should be as symmetrical as possible.

These appear to be very minor imperfections. Looking at the videos, the stone is freakin' gorgeous and I don't think it's anything to be concerned about. However, if someone here doesn't respond with more technical logic/reasoning then I'd encourage you to call BGD and see if Brian can better explain what is going on and how this affects the stone.

Looks like the stone might have been ever so slightly tilted during photography - single clear axis of symmetry w/o corresponding opposite asymmetry in that hearts image is unexpected, but I doubt a Black stone would have that degree of variance. Have them retake the hearts pic (and provide an arrows pic or scan output) if you're interested in it, as @sledge suggested.

The diamond is tilted at around 160 degrees axis (a diagonal line with the left side slightly higher than the right side), the bottom arrows are shorter and fatter, the upper arrows are thinner and longer, there is a clear single axis. The culet is similarly displaced upwards confirming the tilt.

Best thing would be to either jump on chat and ask them or give them a call.

I’m sure it’s a perfect stone however if you have concerns, they’ll be honest and open with you!
