Bezel setting adds mm to the diamond?

So I’m wondering... how many mm does a bezel setting add to the diamond?

Thanks! So technically, a 7.5 mm stone can look like a 9.5 mm stone if bezeled.

I’m interested in an oec but I don’t want it to be too big for my daily routine.

I have a thin bezel and it adds 1mm.
