I would like to share my new bezel set 18k emerald cut diamond ring, paired with matching band.

Beautiful! I absolutely love yellow gold & you have the perfect skin tone for it.

They’re gorgeous, @bibs !! Congrats on selecting your EC!! The bezel setting is robust and looks great on you!
The band goes perfectly with your sparkler!!
Wear them in great health! :kiss2:

I love your ring so so so much. Giving me serious heart palpitations. It’s amazing :kiss2:

Love this with the big chunky gold! I'm so glad it ended up being a pretty stone (read your other thread)!

That’s beautiful! I love the yellow gold and thick bands.

@bibs Absolutely love the chunky rounded bezel!

Just to check - it’s a faux bezel with the stone set in claws and the bezel is a design feature rather than touching the stone? Out of interest, did you decide to set it like this for light return / maximisation purposes? Your stone is performs really well in the setting!

Love it!

The setting is offered by a particular jeweller here in Australia, I just knew I wanted a chunkier style bezel setting and it was love at first sight when I saw it. I thought it was tightly set in the bezel when I first saw it but it sits on an open plate underneath and has an airline all around held in by the prongs. You don't really see this in real life it's only when you zoom in on the photos. I assume it was designed like this to allow light to pass through more easily. I have attached a photo of the under gallery.
