Best Stand Mixer?

I have a thermomix. It blends, beats, whisks, mixes, mills, chops, purees, sautes, cooks, steams, weighs and a whole heap of other things I'm yet to try.

The outlay is $2k but I didn't have a mixer, blender, food processor, scales and a few other things so when you add up the cost of them it's fairly comparable, but doesn't take up as much space.

Yay for the good deal! I love my KitchAid. It sits out all the time. I got imperial grey, so it doesn't show fingerprints or smudges.
And if you have the money and are really going to use it, a Hobart is fabulous. We had one for dough at the pizza place I worked at in college. It was about five feet tall and who-knows-how-old back then. It's probably still mixing away somewhere.

Thank you, Texaskj! We may have broken down and joined in on the Kitchen Aid buying fun. :Up_to_something: In the Aqua Sky color. I'm so excited! Now I have to find some semi-healthy recipes to make with it. That said, I'm really looking forward to making cookies for everyone this year!

Kitchen Aid stand mixer is like the difference between retail diamond shopping and being a insider with Pricescope knowlege! :cheeky:
