Hello, I''m looking to find a place that can show me some loose diamonds, mainly so that I can compare color and size.

I''d love a place near Seattle on the Eastside, I''m not sure if anyone on here is familar with the area. I''ve been to the mall shops and the like but those places seem to only have ''shows'' where they put loose diamonds out. A non mall shop would be nice (maybe I''ve just missed some obvious ones).

Best place to view loose diamonds in Seattle Eastside?

I take it you''ve been to Ben Bridge? They often have some loose stones and many of the staff are hip to the concept of well-cut stones. They also have asset type machines to see if there is any light leakage.

Not to say they have a lot of stones, but the ones they have are often better than the standard fair. Of course, their prices are crazy expensive.

I wonder about EE Robins. Never been in there. . .you can always call and see if they have many loose stones. (They''re by bell. square)

I went to Ben Bridge at Northgate Mall back in Oct/Nov and happened to stumble in during one of their diamond events. They had a crazy number of stones to see. It''s been awhile and I was with my gf at the time and I wasn''t looking to compare specifics, so I don''t recall much of what I saw.

I don''t know anything about EE Robins, though I could definitely give them a call to find out if they have loose stones given how close they are.

(not sure how this got posted here, cookie failure)

I know I''m aiming this at a relatively limited audience so I don''t want it to slip through the cracks as a Seattleite walks in!

Seattleite here, but no real big help

; maybe try a Jared's? They have the Peerless line, which is AGS0. I'm afraid I don't know the Eastside real well, so I'm not sure which one would be closest. There's one floating around Alderwood somewhere nearby the mall.

A few months back I went to Jared's by Alderwood and they only had five or so Peerless diamonds in their showcase (which I have to say ARE beautiful diamonds). The staff is informed re: well-cut stones, but they're kind of rude when it comes to discussing diamonds IF you bring up shopping online or even remotely demonstrate your knowledge of diamonds. Two of the staff members insulted my ACAs
