I read in one of the posts that it''s not good to buy a diamond from a retailer or on line wholesaler. So who would I go to to buy a diamond?

the topic was concerning an investment type of diamond. This means it will represent a substantial ammount of money spending,.. $100 000??
If you spend/ invest this much you can go a step closer to the source.
