Best manicure to complement new tanzanite ring?

I know this question is a little on the periphery of the forum's purpose, but thought you might be able to help!

For Christmas my spouse is giving me a beautiful tanzanite ring set in rose gold with little bezelled diamonds.

I want to make sure my hands look suitably dressed to show it off, so was planning to get a manicure this weekend. However, I don't know what colour to go for! Suggestions? Do I try to complement the rose gold or the stone? Or none of the above? I'd usually go a nice fiery red, but I don't think that will showcase the ring properly...

How about a pale pink mani so that your nails are nice and polished but demure to let the ring shine.

I second PB's suggestion of a neutral mani to let the color of the stone be the eye catcher. If you're wanting to be a little extra zazzy for Christmas, I think you could also do a warmer glittery metallic, like bronze or rose gold.
